Basically both players had possession. However, I'll have to see rule book for exception to the rule on a punt, but joint possession belongs to team last in possession. That would have been Nebraska because a muff isn't a change of possession.

I told a friend that Martinez was about to lose us the game before his fumble - because he consistently plays poorly on the last drive of close games - there’s a theme here and it isn’t the refs
