Frost as a recruit (story)

I’m more popular than Donny T bro. I know it’s a tough pill to swallow for a white knighter such as yourself

So two starters and quite a few depth guys?

Are you saying that wasn’t a horrible loss? Did you like Frost’s game plan of throwing almost 30 times when the wind was gusting at 25 mph?

No comment on the Illinois game?

It’s fine, though. 2020 didn’t count to some fans. It didn’t matter that Frost continued to get out coached.
Quite a few depth guys my ass. PJ left the JV at home and had 3 off weeks to gameplan and prepare

He couldn’t even hold practice for a lot of that time if I remember right. Everyone knows it was a shitty loss. If we win that game, Frost has a 4-4 season which doesn’t seem near as bad.

It was a shitty loss. Nobody has to repeat that because the consensus is it was a shitty loss.

One of the lasting annoyances outside of the play on the field is the narrative that Peej drives seemingly every game that places himself in a no lose situation. If he’d have lost that game everyone looks at the players out only two of which actually had an opportunity to effect the outcome of the game. But Peej made it sound like he would be playing with like 4 guys. If he wins, he’s just an amazing coach that overcame overwhelming adversity and willed his team to victory.

PJ is annoying. I won’t disagree, but people should recognize he is a solid coach.

If the roles were reversed you would be championing that Frost is some kind of miracle worker.

That’s fine. Why drive a fall-safe narrative leading up to basically every big game then? I think Peej knows that nobody in the Twin Cities gives a shit about his program and if he does that the papers will just regurgitate what he says out of lack of interest in what he’s doing.

If the roles were reversed would nobody dissect it 1000000 different ways and come to similar conclusions that we have here about Peej? Or would everybody lazily accept Frost’s “Nobody is here to play today” narrative?

Im finding it extremely hard to believe that everybody would accept a false narrative Frost was peddling in your hypothetical scenario.
