So here’s a story as best as I can remember it. I’ve heard this several times from a guy that coached in Omaha & put quite a few guys in D1 and ultimately several in the NFL. He is also good friends with T.O.

Apprently Frost’s dad (rip) was a confident cocky guy. When it came time for Frost to make his commitment they invited T.O and other coaches (McBride for sure) out to Wood River. So the coaches headed out there at night in a terrible blizzard risking their lives to get there just for frost’s dad to tell them that his son was going to Stanford. And even after that I guess his dad was always gunning for McBride’s job. Was very open about telling them he could do better.

Frost also claimed he was the best QB in the state at the time which included Tommie. It’s why a lot of people still don’t like him. He’s exceptionally hard to like

I know a guy right out of college at the time who coached against Frost’s dad and abused him. He ran something as simple as the green dog blitz, and he said Frost’s dad couldn’t even figure it out. He said Frost’s mom had the brains. It wasn’t close on the intelligence front.

she set the american record for 75 & up in the shot and discus this weekend

Blah blah 12-20 but don't y'all get tired of pooping on the guy?

i dont even count last year, it literally meant nothing for anyone outside of Alabama. we played no non con and didnt even know we could play until september. an absolute shitshow.
The thing it did show was it was more of the same. We got abused by a shitty Illinois team and when we had a chance to turn the corner a Minnesota team who was literally at half strength player wise kicked our ass.

Are you seriously trying to downplay a loss to a team who hadn’t played their previous two games and had 33 players out due to Covid protocols, or am I reading this wrong?
That was the narrative but most of their starters played that game. That said, we still shouldn’t have lost.

Nick Bahe said there is a clear dividing line on if former players are "cool" or "HATE" Frost and it is the 1995 team.

Guys on the 95 team might not like him but at least respect him for getting the shit kicked out of him all year and then won in 97.

Guys on the teams before that hated him (probably still do) because he was the snot nose kid who said he was better than Tommie (or Brook) and then went to Stanford cuz he thought he was too good for Nebraska.

PS: Imagine a QB in state playing fucking C2 football saying he was better than a back-to-back National Title game MVP, lol what an idiot

you're telling me Minnesota had 3 weeks to gameplan nebraska & was fully rested and nebraska was coming off of 5 straight games?
