I read somewhere ESPN would have lost 150 million leaving out the sec. If Georgia would have lost to a two loss Bama team they would have got in. There was no way a sec team was being left out.

I still think if a two loss Bama team would have beat Georgia, FSU would have got the 3 seed. Having a committee filled with mostly hacks who know nothing about college football makes it laughable.

Honestly, whoever drew up that ACC grant of rights should win Lawyer of the Decade for how tight it's held up to this point. I mean, it's doing exactly what it was created to do, with FSU's and everyone else's approval, no matter how many schools want out now.

Totally agree. Alabama almost lost with their starting QB while FSU was winning with their defense and back up QB. If anything, it shows that FSU is even more a complete team by winning without their starting QB.

I wouldn’t have an issue with leaving FSU out if it was actually about the best 4 teams every year, but in the past it hasn’t been about the best 4 teams.

I will say this. Everyone in America would rather watch Michigan take on Bama than FSU unless you’re a Michigan player or fan. It’s probably the first year I wouldn’t be shocked to see any of the four teams win the championship. I couldn’t see FSU winning it if they were in with their current qb situation.

Bama has the best secondary going and I can’t see a Michigan just pounding the rock to win, so I’m guessing you’re right. The offenses Michigan faced all year were also complete garbage outside OSU who wasn’t as good as they have been on offense.

the bottom line is that the SEC has dominated the playoff since it started. there was no way a 1 loss SEC champ who beat the 2x defending champs was getting left out, nor should they get left out.

If I remember right they have won the last 13 of the last 17 titles so they should definitely get the benefit of the doubt. Deep down 99 percent of college football fans think Bama will win it this year.

If Travis getting hurt was such a big deal, then why didn’t the committee drop FSU out of the top 4 right after he got hurt?
