The only move worth scrutinizing now is the firing of worthless SF and then the hiring of a new head coach. It's not only the MOST important thing, but really the ONLY important thing at this point. Everything else that needs to happen will come after that. This is the move that we need to get correct. Then get ready to dig in. This is gonna be a long haul. We are years from being where we need to be. 2023 starts with Minnesota so like I said dig in, our sights need to be farther down the road. 2024.

Once we have the new man he and Turd can start the process of the roster cull, hiring/retaining of assistants, roster renewal through the portal where possible and start filtering through the current high school recruits for who fits, who needs to be moved on from and new contacts/offers. (It is totally obvious that Turd has already been preparing for this by having us save official visits for the new man to use. If you haven't noticed we haven't used a single OV during the first two home weekends this year. We should have around 22 give or take to play with)

So take a deep breath. The worry has passed. The nightmare is over. It may not feel like it but the healing has begun. A new journey is upon us. Go big red.

Exactly how I feel and exactly why I watched the most of a live game last night as I have this season. It feels awful to say that I was relieved when Ga So went ahead in the final minutes, but saying anything otherwise would be lying. I don’t want the Huskers to lose. But a win last night would just elevate the odds of Frost-led future embarrassing losses. I slept well last night. Cut bait.

This is why there is no celebration in me. Like you I just know the next hire will be another compromise with the TC who will fail miserably. It's almost as if the head of the snake that is the Tradition Coalition secretly has an agenda and doesn't want NU to have a good football program on any terms but his.

I don't even want to think about it. with all of the coaching talent available this year I can see us hiring yet another coach with some sort of Nebraska ties. This is why Turd got hired. He will hire who he is told to hire. Again there will be no real search/interview process. Hope I'm wrong, but doubt I am.

I agree about the transfer portal. Combine that with NU’s strong NIL position, new facilities, and new $$$ from BIG tv contract, I actually think NU can be relevant again. But it needs to pay a top notch coach top notch mullah. We’ll see about that.
