Fall camp thread 2024

DL: T-Rob
DL: Nash
DL: Jimari
Jack: Princewell/Sherman
LB: Bullock
LB: Wright/Gbayor
CB: Hill
CB: Buford
S: Singleton
S: Hartzog
Rover: Gifford

That's an experienced defense

Weakest spot is LB but we have experience and if its Bullock/Wright then you've got two former DBs playing, so we should be fast
and cam lendhardt might be our best player

Yeah I agree with you. Wouldn’t that mean that rhule couldn’t afford to punish his best players because he needs them?
Nope you are looking at it from an all things are equal perspective. Rhule isn't trying to win a national title this year. At least not realistically. He's trying to build a team that can compete for titles in the future which means tougher standards. Cook is looking to win a title this year and will need all the pieces he has at his disposal to do it. Agree or not its the situation.

How many draft picks/future draft picks on this defense?

Nash
Hill
Gifford
Jimari?
T-Rob?
Singleton?
Buford?

Seems like all the question marks could be drafted with a good year.

Future

Lenhardt
Princewill

Good sign with Banks getting a single digit. Anything above complete ass is a huge upgrade for WR this season.

Big testament to Rhule's coaching that guys like Hill and Butler are single digits. Left for dead on previous staff.
So did Billy Kemp & Sims last season. While I agree with you, it’s still a bit of an unknown until the new guys actually play a real down for you.
