I'm annoyed with management. I'll be updating my resume over the next two weeks.

My team over performed for the second year in a row. Reading the tea leaves I'll be asked to carry the water for the division again in 2025. This time with less resources and no additional incentives. When I get a new job offer they will likely counter and at that point I'll have a decision to make. The thought of quitting without something else lined up is tempting, but it's more of a pipe dream.

Had surgery on December 2nd with an 8 week recovery where I can’t go to work or be on my feet for more than a few minutes at a time. So I’m roughly 1/3 of the way through two months of laying down, playing PS5 and watching football.

I keep getting pity from people saying stuff like “That must be soooooo tough.”

I play along, but in my mind, this is like the greatest vacation I’ve ever taken.

Clients love moving back in to remodels right before christmas so it's been two weeks of revolving gong shows operationally

Back in the office it's been a lot of the same. Trying to get a ton of 179 transactions done this week and its been a lot of hours figuring out how many we need to do

If we had bad teams here it would probably be brutal but instead its been kind of fun to work at a high pace. Reminds me of working in kitchens
