I don't personally care about the single numbers. What I think is bogus is transfers being able to walk in and earn a blackshirt after being on campus for less than year, whether that's a winter enrollee, or summer enrollee. If someone isn't here for 2+ years and hasn't really really battled each day for a long period of time, don't even think about a blackshirt. I don't care what era we're in. If that means we do away with blackshirts altogether, cool, but someone whose transferring onto campus for like 2 weeks, for fall, camp, because they're a great transfer, doesn't deserve a blackshirt.

Hartzog is 4'11'' and had to cover 6'3'' guys. But he got beat a town in non-height related situations.

Yeah and TBH the only real odd one was Tommi Hill. He ended up quitting on his team. The single digit honor is supposed to be for the best leaders, hardest workers, highest integrity....you shouldn't have a single digit who ends up just quitting on his teammates. That's a yikes from me dawg.

Other than that the other ones mentioned just had bad years because they have limitations.
