This seems like a good start to making the recruiting/portal calendar less crazy for coaches.

I'd rather they get rid of signing day and just allow people to sign anytime. They could still set some sort of start date. Maybe completion of their junior year of high school.

I would also have some sort of waiting period after an in-person visit or contact. So maybe 3 days after an official/unofficial visit just to make sure schools can't pressure kids into signing while on campus.

Do you think eventually early signing day gets moved to August?

And if so will we see seniors in high school signing their LOI and then sitting out their senior year
