Fleeks, a 5-foot-11, 192-pounder from Dallas, spent the past five seasons at Baylor, where he played in 42 career games and caught a combined 67 passes for 658 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 61 yards and one score. He will have one season of eligibility remaining.

Fleeks was a three-star recruit in the Class of 2018 out of Cedar Hill High School who took an official visit to Nebraska in December 2017.

Fleeks fits the mold of a Matt Rhule recruit. A dual-sport athlete in high school, Fleeks was a burner on the track team, similar to 2023 recruits Brice Turner
and Jaylen Lloyd. Fleeks was clocked at 10.46 seconds in the 100-meter dash in 2018 and 21.81 in the 200 in 2017.

In 2020, Fleeks was fourth on the team in receptions (21) and receiving yards (181) with one touchdown.

Fleeks is the Huskers' fifth transfer addition thus far, joining Georgia Tech QB Jeff Sims and three Florida transfers in safety Corey Collier Jr., OLB Chief Borders
and LS Marco Ortiz.
