Dylan Raiola Visiting

Why would Dylan come to NU? The top QB (and maybe top player overall) in the 2024 cycle - would he want to come to a team with possibly the worst O Line in P5 college football?

I realize there is a lot of time between now and when he signs on the dotted line, so who knows who we hire as head coach and assistants, how we may possibly improve the O Line and overall team talent, etc. I doubt his uncle will still be an assistant after this season with us.

OSU is loaded and reloads as well as anyone every year. Sure, there will be more competition for Dylan at OSU to play, but it seems a stretch to think he would end up picking NU. Not that I would complain if he did. Just not seeing it, realistically.
cuz they know Matt Rhule was an O Line coach for the Giants. 3 years is plenty of time for him to turn around the O Line Room.

Two* if we’re expecting him to play as a freshman.

The only real question which recruiting fuck up will go down as the worst in Nebraska recruiting history. Bo and Beck for Joe Burrow or Frosted Flakes and Raiola? I guess time will tell.

I accept your answer. If that happens - all of it - damn, we did a great job not only hiring the HC, but leveraging that to the top QB in the 2024 crootin class.

Maybe Dylan remains committed to OSU but ends up like Joe Burrow, then transfers to NU, provided next season the OL is overhauled with a solid OL coach.

plz anyone who happens to see him

or Frost failing to even try to get Burrow when he transferred

"Is he better than what we have?" will be the defining quote of Frost's career

Didn’t Burrow have like 23 attempts at OSU?
he was a highly ranked recruit and was sitting behind a couple of really successful players. just from a depth perspective it was dumb to not bring him in in favor of a true freshman who just missed an entire season with a shoulder injury.

with Burrow at QB the Frost era doesn't start 0-6 and likely starts with a bowl game in 2018

Yeah. Any amount of due diligence would have revealed that a nontrivial number of people around Ohio state's program thought Burrow won the job that spring. Even if the Joe Burrow who shows up in Lincoln isn't as good as he was at LSU or even if you don't know he's good, you needed to take as.many spins at the QB wheel as possible.to get right

Sure, with 20/20 hindsight. No one was saying this after 2018
