Leading candidate for the Heisman trophy was on a different team last year. Last year’s national championship winning QB wasn’t on OSU roster the year before. Hell half the the top 15 teams have a transfer QB or 1st year QB.

Riaola wants too much money or just wants to walk for whatever reason… so be it. For the money we’re paying him we can a QB that has already proven he can win at this level.

Not only the money, remove the baggage of his Uncle as a filed oline coach and meddling father. Luckily, we dumped Dayton so we are only strapped with 2/3.

That was my 1st thought reading this. There’s nothing new here, just somebody who knows that Dayton decommitted and is following the obvious path of speculation.

Oh, I get that’s the current going rate for a top transfer QB. I just don’t think they’re truly worth that much to a program, or should be worth that much.
