Alexa recommended that I search for "Thanksgiving Vegetarian Lasagna recipes" earlier this evening.

Since when do real American Patriots have veggie lasagna on Thanksgiving?

SMH.

I can't figure how it would have recommended that when he spends half of disposable income at REI and donated exclusively to Democrats

I don’t know but why the fuck when you tell a timer to stop you have to yell at it before it hears you? Then half the time it thinks someone is talking to it when they’re not?

You must have the same problem my wife does. See, when I direct alexa to do something, it just works about 99.9% of the time. When my wife does, it never works the first time, and rarely the second time. Then she yells at the cloud, and yelling doesn't really help.

>>>smart home assistant

I've seen a lot of videos about smart home assistant, and looked into it a little. What does a person need to do to get into that landscape?

Also, you made the less/greater than signs go the wrong way if you were trying to tell me it's better than the alternatives. If you were trying to tell me to check it out, then thanks and I'd appreciate any advice you have for me to migrate there.

Uses Alexa

Eats vegetarian lasagna on thanksgiving

Votes Democrat
I could see you being a vegetarian lasagna type guy

Folks, I have to admit that I did buy a vegetarian Stouffer's Lasagna in either 2010 or 2011 to take to a potluck where 90% of the attendees were vegetarian. I wish I would have brought a rack of beef ribs instead, so I could really show those international graduate students how we do things in 'Merica.

That said, I bought that vegetarian lasagna at the food pyramid/food lion/Alberson's in Stillwater OK. How much data does Jeff Bezos have about me personally in order to suggest thanksgiving veggie lasagna? It's frightening and sickening, if we're being real. Which I was up until the previous two sentences.

Good news everyone.

Amazon is making plays in healthcare so just wait until your smart assistant asks if you are sure you want to salt that food when your sodium levels are already abnormally high

My mom, two grandmas, and one grandpa salt everything before they even taste it. I think their approach is how we fight back against the Amazon overreach. Fuck Alexa for trying to help make us not dead yet.

- makes fun of mom and grandparents who wrecked their lives and bodies to give him the Academia life he has

- invents a straw man to defend Amazon

- invents straw man to defend Alexa and what Alexa does

- unironically quotes Nietzche
