People really need to get off the “look at what X coach did with less resources” train. Thats how you get Mike Riley. If Rhule proved anything, you need a guy that has the bigger vision.

Seems like with a lot of coaches who came up through the bottom-tier power conference schools, their whole approach is centered around covering up the deficiencies of their players, and then they don't even know what to do with good players when they can fill most of their roster with them. If we went with a coach like that, I'd want someone who at least had previous coordinator experience at a top-level program.

Then again, we just beat a bottom-tier power conference team whose head coach had previously been a coordinator at a top-level program...

If the line is this shitty next year with no qb run game does it matter?
