Comes back to what should be a better offense as far as surrounding talent. Makes NIL money which I imagine he is making decent money doing it.

Transfers... Gets him a fresh start. I know a lot of teams would be interested in him.

Tries his luck at the NFL... I imagine he is an UDFA. Ravens would seem to be a good fit IYAM.

Retires... It actually wouldn't shock me if this is the route he takes. I mean he has literally been injured every year since what? His junior year of HS? Shit this year he had a broke jaw, high ankle and then shoulder...fuck

Yeah, Adrian played every game of 1 out of 4 seasons here. And that season was a shortened COVID year where there was a lot of doubt whether he would play the final game. I wouldn't be surprised if he was a Taylor Martinez situation where he wouldn't get through physicals to get drafted based on injury history. Shoulder problems 3 out of 4 years, so I'm guessing that thing is a mess.

Shatel said today on the radio he's heard recovery time for Adrian surgery is 4-6 months. New OC will want his QB ready to go for Spring ball. Math says Adrian is done.


He also said Adrian hasn't practiced all week since about week 4 of the season, so Smothers has been getting reps with the 1s in season.

4 year captain, great leader, very good demeanor and well respected guy that people want to follow, has a great understanding of the game...execution is troublesome...but he sees things very well and I believe could be a really good young coach quickly.
