Does TJ Lateef give Nebraska a better chance to win than a healthy Dylan Raiola?

UCLA was the worst defense we’ve played since Akron and HBU, TJ certainly played well and has traits to be excited about, but I want to see how he performs again these next two defenses before we anoint him the new savior
UCLA beat Maryland (a terrible defense that picked off DR twice)

Last night was our best B1G win of the year, and arguably our best B1G win in the last 2 seasons.

they havent been bad at all in big ten play, aside from an indiana ass kicking. ive seen qbs struggle with troy and south alabama and georgia southern etc, im calling it now. he is a heisman contender if hes around in 2 years

They have three wins on the season, with losses of 43-10, 35-10 (to freaking New Mexico in the Rose Bowl), & 56-6 …They are not a good football team.

As I said, still a good quality road win for TJ. But possibly we can hold off and see what happens over the next three weeks before we anoint him, and alienate DR.

I’m curious about the NIL situation if Lateef does well the next two games

Seems like the Raiola family has a lot of leverage over Rhule, but if Lateef balls out that won’t be the case anymore
Would be pretty funny if tj balls out next two games and poof uncle donny is gone Saturday morning after cockeye

I’m just going to come right out and say it: Lateef sucks and has only benefitted from circumstance and not his own talent. Raiola is awesome only because of his superior pedigree and talent and despite everyone else around him sucking.

I’m afraid not, my friend. When Lateef throws for 200+ and multiple tds off YAC, it’s just not as skillful as when Raiola throws for 200+ and multiple td’s off YAC. Night and day difference and only the certified ball knowers know what I’m talking about.

The important question is does $3M Dylan give us a better chance to win than $1.5M Lateef with $1.5M of OL and DL transfers

According to what I’ve read on here half of Raoila’s NIL deal is from Adidas anyway & even if Lateef wins out he won’t be worth that much.
