Sold fireworks during college. They are fun as shit and you are low T if you think otherwise.

This is how I used to spend my 4th of July's about 15 years ago. Lighting artillery shells underneath my chair with a beer in my hand. Fuckin' Merica.

I used to collect all of the damaged but still lightable stuff over the course of a season and do a kegger for the crew on the night of the 4th. Fun as hell.

The answer on what to buy is always canister mortars.

Not allowed in city limits down here. Took my daughter back to NE last year and she got to do them for the first time. She insisted we go back every year…so yeah I’m heading back to the motherland next weekend.
Friends of my family back in my home town are multi generations of Marines and they would put on their own fireworks display every year, they would literally fill their whole garage with fireworks. I don't know how legal it is to have that many fireworks but on the 4th it was fucking glorious.

In Colorado we have the lame fireworks, nothing can leave the ground. Growing up me and my dad would drive up to Wyoming to get the cool stuff. We're always in a fire ban come July so it's pretty lame. I got slapped with a $1,000 fine in College for lighting off a big boy multi-shot during a "fire ban"

Yeah Colorado sucks for fireworks. I remember when I lived in Omaha we had a big show with the whole cul de sac and blew up fireworks all night. Now in CO we throw poppers.

they were fun when i was younger but at this age i'd rather watch a professional show or just listen them going off in the distance. A few years ago we were flying into LA on the night of the 4th and seeing all of the fireworks from the plane was pretty sweet.

I'll probably get back into them once my kids are old enough, but that's not really a thing with a one year old.

Why the fuck would you spend what equates to @Jim14510 two weeks pay on fireworks?
Not sure! I never had the money for the first two kids and now I do. It's kind of a bonding thing with the youngest. We save up our change throughout the year and spend it on the good stuff. Neighbors seem to enjoy it and there's not a lot to get excited about in Northeast NE.
