New Commit Devin Drew is N

I hope he’s right but beginning to wonder if this is @BigCL24 from rss
Episode 4 No GIF by Curb Your Enthusiasm

Where is this Wynn information coming from???
Wynn info coming just from reading between lines on different outlets and the Twitter machine and me throwing my dick around with an opinion and willing to throw money behind it.

Consider it me being a nonsensical douche on a message board that was excited about Drew committing.

So Drew went to IWCC, did we offer him when he was there? Seem to remember he got some mention as a Juco All American. If he did 2 years at IWCC and 2 years at TCU does he only have 1 season left of eligibility?
Did he get a Covid year? That would mean we could potentially get 2 years from him, no?

If I recall correctly I think Held fd that relationship up
I mean, he was supposed to get that WR who couldn't qualify here to go to IWCC, develop and come back.... Held went and placed him at another JUCO... Where they don't throw the ball, he didn't develop and faded off into the abyss. It also pissed off IWCC because we basically had planned on placing him there.

I think IWCC now is under Chins responsibilities.

@...TrueColors... knows this situation better, but I think I accurately described it.

i never understood it, still don't. they produce several P5 prospects every year, they're 50mi from campus, and we have no relationship at all with the program. why do we hate success?

Frost had it all lined up with Strohmeier that Dominick Watt would go to IWCC and then come back to NU. Great player that would have been awesome at a JUCO that throws the ball around.

Frost told Held to handle all of the details and get it all put together.

At the 11th hour, Held steered Watt to Garden City to play for Jeff Sims where they don’t throw the football. Frost had to call Stroh and personally apologize. Kind of a microcosm of Held’s time here where he doesn’t follow instructions or does a job incompetently and Frost has to clean up the mess but Held receives exactly zero consequences or isn’t held accountable at all. If it would have been my organization or program, I’d have strongly considered firing him right on the spot here.

IWCC thought Held was a joke and refused to deal with him. I’ve heard those exact words from members of their staff and they’re not shy about it.

Chin is handling IWCC moving forward and they love him there. Their gripe with him is he’s all about measurables. When I use the word gripe, it’s more along the lines of the annoyance you get with a buddy of yours who can’t stop talking about one subject over and over.

Not every kid they’ve had there is a fit here. Also I wouldn’t advocate for the coaches to basically live there either. But we basically treat Lewis Central as in-state kids. IWCC plays on the same fuckin football field as they do. IWCC should also be seen as in state. Again, not every kid would work here. But it’s inexcusable that we’ve not signed a single kid either. I know of a couple others we could have had that Held whiffed on simply due to negligence and one of them was drafted this year in the 4th round.

It’s great that our relationship is so shitty with iwcc that we had to wait until he went to a different school to recruit him.
What's worse is he visited Nebraska on 11/16/19 Juco All American DL from down the road and left without an offer visited Tech Texas a few days later and committed to them a couple weeks later. If you recall 2019 was the Davis twins and Darrion Daniels last year 3 starters leaving, and they didn't even offer Drew. Luckly, they were able to catch him on the rebound.
