Let’s recap….body for body who would you day Mathis and Drew replace (from guys that went pro and guys that went portal)? With each of these two replacements where will they be in terms of quality and performance compared to their predecessor?

Seems like a rotational piece at best. But at this point I’ll take it

Hard to really say because I think we are really shifting to a 4-man front. You could say that Drew replaces Rogers and Mathis replaces JoJo, but it isn't that simple. Drew will be playing DT alongside Robinson and Mathis will be playing DE opposite of Nelson (probably splitting time with Tannor).

This is a big addition and will help a lot on that DL - arguably the 2nd biggest concern on the team. Land another OT and I'll start to feel pretty good about this team...

I think he is a little better than a rotational piece. I am not saying he will be all B1G, but I think he will be a solid reliable starter for us. Which if we got that, I would consider that a massive win.

Realistically you are just hoping to sure up those spots so they aren't liabilities at this point. That way it gives your pups some time to get ready as back up rotational guys. He averaged playing 40 snaps a game over the last 2 years. He had decent stats the last 2 years looking at it and PFF (taken with a grain of salt). I think they checked a box here jmo.

We still need to find a 1/0 tech guy.

Boom!!! Another quality body at a position of need. I also like that he is originally from KC which hopefully will help open the doors up back in that area. I am confident with Busch recruiting KC that we will see an upswing in players from there. GBR
I realize Raytown is technically KC Mo, but it Seems like the state of kansas has been putting out some decent talent in recent years. They’re set up for a very solid 2023 class
