Despite 20 Years of Frustration, NU faithful believe that the "N" will rise again (The Athletic)

I feel like we have a pretty good staff minus the head coach, so not sure if that’s gonna fly. Also think that the changes made at the end of 2021 were 2-3 year changes, not 1 year quick fixes.

In other words, 6 or 7 wins max in 2022, maybe 8 in 2023, then 9 or 10 in 2024….

Or we go 3-9 again and everyone gets sacked.
Agreed on good staff minus the head coach. The whole "Frost can now be a CEO" is like promoting the failed CIO to CEO and thinking he'll magically flip the switch into a dynamic leader.

I have a better chance of getting into the Gate 25 2nd-floor sex lair than us winning 8 games this fall.

"NU faithful" simply think that by the fact that we're Nebraska things will be ok. It is a sense of success entitlement that they have not shed even under Scott Frost.

Throw them a few instagram hype vids and they'll start throwing the bones and buying up tickets.
That was word for word my mindset as a kid
