Can someone start a confirmed early enrollee thread? Seems like there’s quite a few

OK, I "get" making inroads with ALL the schools and coaches for when that once-in-a-generation talent shows up in a school this size, BUT ... is this really the best use of Foley's time? Maybe figuring out what's causing Alvano to "yip" when attempting to put points on the board in front of 87,000 people (you know, points we could use to keep from losing 7 fucking games every year) would be a better use of his special teams corching skills than playing Husker Football ambassador.

But I'm old and structured that way. I'm appreciate of the goodwill tours, particularly the first year, but lets buckle down and do our jobs now.

Reviewing the local queso is more important than getting his ass on the road outside Nebraska

I dont mind it. Right now is dead week and finals are next week, so let the kids study. Take this month to touch base with the locals to keep the fans that bitch about never recruiting local schools off your back. Eat some good food on the way and get back at it in January.

Apparently, true. Seriously, as "personable" as Foley is, he should be sitting in living rooms raving over whatever gruel a 'croots Mom serves up for dinner. He'd kill it out there. Turn him loose. Clarkson High doesn't need you anymore. Go get 'em, corch!

Did they move early signing day? No ... they did not. It's crunch time out there. Go press the flesh where it matters, no disrespect to Clarkson High.

Gonna be pissed when this dude turns into a 4 star and bama poaches

Right? I think he's been on the road outside Nebraska a few times with other coaches but I don't think he has by himself.

Not sure what his usefulness is. Our special teams sucked this year.

I tend to distill things down to the simplest elements. Part of looking at this situation is the old sales manager in me. We've got two and 1/2 months to make numbers (Early Signing Day in December and the legacy National Signing Day in early February). We're going to be judged as a sales team and as a company by our end-of-year number (ESD), so all fucking hands on deck and everybody sells. How do we get our resources in front of our most valuable customers? Let's do that with our coaching staff.

We've got mid-February until the summer to do an in-state meet & greet with the coaching staffs. I've been picking on Clarkson as the illustrative example ITT, but really it's all the coaching staffs. See the players NOW, see the coaching staffs LATER. GO CLOSE THE DEAL ON YOUR TOP REMAINING UNCOMMITTED TARGETS, FFS.

I think Rhule is good at prioritization. If Foley isn't on the road outside the state border, I'd guess there is a good reason.

Really wish we had more insight into how the staff is intending to attack this portion of the calendar.

McGuire was 5-10 on the Baylor roster

I interned for the NW Missouri State Athletic Department 20 years ago. It was a running joke that their Seniors had gained an inch and 7 pounds each season, according to the Media Guide.
