O’Brien spent 4 years as an assistant and OC under Belichek. He coached for 2 years at Penn State and had two winning seasons despite the circumstances. Then he spent 6 years as the head coach of an NFL team. And now he’s at Alabama.
We don’t need a coach to come in here and rebuild. We need someone who knows how to coach and will hire an elite staff.
O’Brien is a pro and just what we need.

He was national coach of the year at PSU with the shit show he inherited. More sanctions than anyone ever outside of SMU
Pete Carroll was bad in the NFL before he went to USC
Saban was terrible at Miami
Schiano wasn’t good either and he was great the first time at Rutgers and had already turned them around again
Urban sucks at the NFL and he’s one of
the GOAT college football cosches
Spurrier sucked in the NFL but again one of the best college coaches here.
O’Brien was better than all of them in the NFL outside of Carrol second stint at Seattle

O'Brien is also the QB coach at Alabama, so after we hire him perhaps he will bring one of Alabama's 4* QBs with him. And Alabama just offered Raiola, so O'Brien is also establishing a connection with our 2024 QB

I highly doubt Turd is out there telling anyone anything at this point. We have to fire Frost first. We will probably end up with some coach we never saw coming.
