I always knew Dean is sensitive but that is next level bullshit. I had post deleted and eventually got a DM from Dean. I've since cancelled my sub over there so now I'll just be seeing my sub out until my next billing cycle. I feel free.

General content of post and subsequent DM?

I'll preface for those that aren't on RSS anymore. His sponsor started a thread about franchising options and information. Dean immediately responded with a "tell us more" "what type of money is needed" response. The sponsor responded with "I'm glad you asked" and answered the questions. Dean responded with "great info".

It got deleted. I posted again asking why it was deleted. That post was also deleted without any explanation. I posted a third time saying that I had been on that board since 2006, it has gone downhill, there's better boards out there, this is high school girl level sensitivity, and that this is the push I need to cancel my sub. That post was also deleted then Dean DM'd me and told me that the poster is a sponsor and only posts once or twice a month and has earned the right as a sponsor (something along those lines). Told me that if I don't like the content of the thread don't open it and that he's not going to let people trash his sponsor. He ended it by saying he hopes I don't leave.
I thought about responding that it has nothing to do with the content of the thread, and it has more to do with how ridiculously sensitive he's being for deleting all these posts. (Mine wasn't the only posts deleted, there were quite a few others). But decided it wasn't worth my time to respond and cancelled my sub.
I've been looking to cancel for quite a while. This was just the push I needed. The only thing I'll somewhat miss is that I do think Robin does a good job covering the basketball team. But I'll just pay closer attention to him on Twitter and I'll get the same information.
I mean. Deabs got to know when you let your sponsor post shit like that, you know what’s coming. You should know. So let it roll. Or don’t do it. Come on @JThomasOmaha

Dean is just pimping himself out these days. Content has really gone down hill so he needs to figure out other ways to put some Pesos in his pocket as I am sure you aren't the only subscriber leaving. He is above having Journalistic Integrity anymore as he's now more focused on kissing ass and finding his next new revenue stream.

It reminded me of this Office episode. As it played out on RSS, Sponsor was Michael and Dean was Dwight.
If you guys only knew how many times @HuskerGarrett and I cried into each others shoulders at our weekly mod meetings from the mean things you've said about/to us you might not think Dean is so sensitive. Keep putting on that brave face for these unempathetic assholes Gary. Us giants of husker message boards have difficult lives.
