The same GornDawg who use to Troll Nebraska fans with his write ups. He'd write up and interview with a Cali recruit and talk about how much the recruit loved his visit to Nebraska and the coaching staff. Mention that we are definitely one of the leaders. And then his last sentence would always have some backhanded bitch slap in there with a comment like "but he'll be hard to get away from USC". So our fans went from excited to quickly being pissed off. He just loved riling up Husker Fans, and was good at it. We'd catch him checking back on his posts a bunch of times. You'd look at his profile and it would say he was viewing the post.

Yeah but in fairness, most of the guys he said this about ended up on the west coast/at USC

I think people are making too much of the would Mickey essentially row the same way as Rhule. He's ben an assistant most of his life. He's a professional. He'll do what his responsibilities are the HC assigns him. Period. That's what you do. If you don't, you'll basically be ostracized from the coaching world. No one wants to work with a guy that is going to basically be "that guy" and thinks he knows better, etc.

The whole Mickey and Busch went to Turd or whatever the rumor was....#1, is that really true...I'd imagine Turd saw first hand pretty early the shit show that was Frost and his coaching. #2. If it was true...then it was legitimate. If Rhule has a clear plan of action, which from everything that is out there, he clearly does, then that's what you do. That's the coaching world.

The only legitimate potential issue in my mind comes from those vocal idiots on the twitterverse if they don't show immediate improvement in year 1.

IMO.

The big thing for me is how few decommitments we’ve had despite a bad year, firing of the HC, and DC. It’s almost like the last HC had nothing to do with the commits and/or we recruited people who liked the school moreso than the program, I.e., the low hanging fruit.

The real question is how many bolt if Mickey leaves.

Also, if true, MJ knew his boss wanted to know what the fuck was going on inside the program to make it so dysfunctional.

OTOH, TA has no desire to look over Ruhle's shoulder. You don't give a guy $72 million to micromanage him.
