He will probably get a ratings bump by the end of the year

RSS says the Omaha guys who are the better/best players in the state have no interest in coming here though....what gives?
I am not tied in to metro football like I am with basketball, my guess is just kids want to get away from home. Who wouldn’t want to go to Oregon like Jackson, OU, or Auburn. They are powerhouse FB programs that win. woods going to Mizzou is odd to me

didn’t the mizzou coach who told Woods our staff is going to get fired just get fired?

from Allen Trieu at 247:

In general, we like what Nebraska is doing with taking these multi-positional athletes like him, Jake Appleget and Koby Bretz a year ago. These types of longer, projection prospects can quickly add speed and athletic ability to the second level of a defense.

We have him as an 87, which is a good amount higher than his 84.3 composite, but that 87 may still be low based on what we're seeing out of him this fall.

‘I’m staying home:’ 3-star Gage Stenger flips from K-State to Nebraska

Gage Stenger has switched his commitment from Kansas State to Nebraska.
Consensus three-star athlete Gage Stenger of Omaha (Neb.) Millard South has flipped his commitment from Kansas State to in-state Nebraska.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Stenger announced his decision Wednesday morning on social media. In the tweet announcing his flip, he tagged Nebraska head coach Scott Frost, Huskers defensive coordinator Eric Chinander and linebackers coach Barrett Ruud.
“At this time, it is best for me to announce that I will be changing my commitment from Kansas State University and will be following a new path,” Gage Stenger said. “I would like to thank everyone involved at Kansas State for their belief in me and giving me the opportunity to play at the next level.
But with that being said, I would like to announce my commitment to the University of Nebraska. I’m staying home!”
Gage Stenger originally committed to K-State on June 26 after landing an offer from the Wildcats on June 21.
However, Gage Stenger has blown up as a senior. He has more than 1,600 yards of total offense and 21 touchdowns for Millard South. The strong play sparked in-state Nebraska to offer him a scholarship on Wednesday.
It was an offer Stenger quickly accepted.

Nebraska now has 9 commitments

Gage Stenger becomes the ninth commitment in the 2022 class for Nebraska. The Cornhuskers are going to sign a smaller class in this cycle – somewhere around 12 to 13 players.
Stenger is the first commitment for the Huskers since Hayden Schwartz out of Florida pledged in mid-July.
With those small class numbers, Nebraska has been stingy handing out offers, especially to in-state targets like Gage Stenger, who grew up dreaming about being a Husker.
Gage Stenger has played linebacker, running back, receiver and quarterback for the top team in Class A. He could project at a number of different positions for Nebraska. But don’t be surprised if he ends up at inside linebacker playing for Ruud.
