Think this would be a very good value add early. They're "battling" some big names for him (Texas Tech, Penn State, Oregon, Colorado, Baylor and Minnesota - per his agent) but a few of these teams like Tech reach out & make offers to damn near everyone of value in the portal to drive up prices. Getting guys on campus early & locking it up quick going to be the name of the game.

Question, cause I’m an idiot. How is announcing where you plan on visiting 2-3 weeks before the portal actually opens not tampering? Is it like… you (the player/agent) can contact the school and say he’d like to visit? But the school can’t contact him? I don’t know how this works. By the letter of the law all contact must be done via the agent until Jan 2nd. However the rules are barely enforced. If a team gets penalized for illegal contact with a transfer it would be due to stupidity at this point.
