I used to live just north of the 120th street tunnel. What a blessing it was when BOTH of those things were removed in favor of the bridges that are in place today.

Revving a motor w/loud pipes was equally as fun, but yes - horning honking was an absolutely tradition from my youth in that tunnel. Great memories.My dad always honked for us when we passed through the 120th one.
