Completely OT: Where was this photo taken?

Good guess, but there was a bridge in the background making it the 84th Street tunnel.

I used to live just north of the 120th street tunnel. What a blessing it was when BOTH of those things were removed in favor of the bridges that are in place today.

My dad always honked for us when we passed through the 120th one.
Fun memories.

a friend of mine sideswiped a car in that tunnel when he was 16
 
When they started replacing it in 77, this was Mangelsen’s slogan then…

Man, the 70s cars after 71-72 were shit boxes a Ford? fake wood paneled station wagon, Pinto station wagon, a Gremlin, a 4 door? early 70s Cutlass and probably some huge 70s boat with a huge cubic inch V8 making about 100 horse power. 🤣
