The best way to describe, tried to lead a mutiny to override the depth chart that was announced, got into with coach and coach told him to get off the field.

Sounds like Lincoln East coaches should set their ego’s aside and keep their prized pony happy. I bet Lincoln High would gladly take him.

Yep, who wouldn’t let being a top 100 recruit get to their head? From all accounts he’s a hard working kid from a great family… could care less that he’s cocky.

If im Lincoln East’s coach Malachi is in my office setting the depth chart with me. He should have kept walking when the coach told him get off the field.

Coleman 2 catches for 25 yards. East started a senior at QB who went 6-21 for 49 yards in the first half.. pulled him for the sophomore QB in 2nd half and looked way better

It was rough. East line and QB situation is not good at the moment. Didn’t do a good job scheming to get Coleman chances on the ball.

Now in fairness, Kearney did a nice job bracketing him all night. He did have a couple chances for big plays that you would expect a top 100 recruit to make and he didn’t in either case.

If they can do a better job getting him the ball and not using him as a decoy, they could surprise some people.
