If you could choose to improve one element of this team in the fall what would it be?

Feel like I saw a deal within the last couple years that said a positive turnover margin was the greatest indicator of success in CFB.
It’s certainly the one that stands out the most of those options. The defense only forced 2 lost fumbles last year, that’s hard to believe. Even in a short season. I had to double take on that

Turnovers- they have plagued this team for too long. The Huskers have given too many games away with turnovers in the last several years. I thought the defense would be forcing many more by this point, but they aren’t(yet) and Frost’s offense cannot hold onto the ball at all.
Penalties have improved significantly as the seasons have progressed. Unfortunately in a handful of early season games over the past 3 years they have been atrocious, and significantly contributed to losses. I still go with turnovers.

I am honestly a little scared to see what would happen if booze started flowing before this team stopped sucking donkey balls.

Nebraska has almost unbelievably bad luck recovering fumbles. if I recall the recent OWH article, we are worst in the country over the last 15 to 20 years at recovering forced fumbles, and it's not particularly close
