ouch, that's a big step down from being a P5 DC
B1G DC to MWC DL position coach?

Yikes. I mean he couldn't even get a position coach gig at a P5 school. That tells you all you need to know.

***this not not meant to be catty toward Chin (who seems like a good dude), this is 100% a criticism of Frost. We as fans were forced to accept a DC who is at MWC position coach-level as a B1G COORDINATOR. That is completely unacceptable.

Given that Chin has basically never been a position coach, I'm not super surprised he didn't have P5 suitors for that.

This seems like a bit of a correction to where a guy with his resume "should" be

The shitty thing is Chin has to know this too. Any time you get your own low worth/value slapped in your face, it's a tough one. (he can cry while he's cashing UNL checks)

He fielded a pretty solid defense in 2021 that kept us in a lot of games while our offense dicked around. Had an opportunistic defense that played good complementary football at UCF in 2017.

Granted, several mediocre years in between, and the wheels fell off this year when he didn't have the personnel to run his (sketchy) scheme. But I suspect he'll be back at either the P5 or DC level before long.
