CFB Professor projects Nebraska

Your analysis on the OL is spot on, considering the situation I would have much preferred an experienced OL NCAA coach over a NFL assistant OL coach considering the situation Frost and Co are in. My biggest concern is Ty is the only player on the DL that has played starter snaps and Drew will have missed a good chunk of camp from finishing school is the only other player that has starter snaps. While I think the players are relatively solid on the DL, I am high on Ty as well, the rest of the lineup looks a little on edge in terms of how many good snaps can they give N this year, and if one gets injured then the depth is pretty slim.
But at least that NFL assistant OL coach got us his nephew. Right?

Not having OSU on the schedule & having a real special teams operation is enough for me to agree with 8-4.

DL doesn't scare me or worry me too much. Dawson has consistently shown that he is a developer - guys get better every year under his tutelage. And they have some guys there that I think can be real dudes - Robinson in particular. I predict that he takes a huge step forward this year and will be a force.

The OL, on the other hand, scares the shit out of me. Which is weird, considering that 3/5 likely starters were high recruited, high 4-star kids. Austin was just pathetic and I have no confidence in Raiola (he needs to earn my confidence). There is enough talent in that OL room. But do we have someone who can actually do something with it.

I'm not convinced we have much talent on the O Line. We may have some 4 star guys, but they don't look like 4 star guys. Yet. Not only are we seemingly thin on depth, but the higher recruited guys haven't really panned out for years. Teddy being badly hurt sets him back a ton. From what I have seen of our O Line so far (granted, that is not much), they seem like plodders (moreso than normal O Line are plodders if that makes sense). Hoping they surprise and are at least average for the conference. We really need the O Line play to be significantly better to hope for much success.

Imagine doing all the work to generate the posterior and then interpreting it like a fucking Juggalo.

Out of curiosity, how many total Nebraska fans understand posterior probability at all (IIRC, people that annoy you are those that don't understand statistics.)

Sometimes I think you're only happy when you're sad.
