CEO Frost Idea is Shit

HC also calling the plays?

It is stupid to take one of the better offensive minds in college football and basically put him behind a desk.

Frost should be heavily involved in the offense. It’s kind of why we hired him.

The offense needs help in the red zone and running the football.

So it seems like OP and some others think Frost should be the OC.

That was probably his ceiling in big time P5 but got promoted ahead of that.

Kind of funny hearing that the HC should just focus on calling plays and let others deal with....literally everything else that comes with being a HC

Kind of depressing if you ask me. Especially since it comes from the cream of the crop of the personal accountability crowd.

Buncha frauds, just like the leader of our program.

Lincoln Riley held onto almost the entirety of Bob Stoops staff

Ryan Day still has half of his assistants being held over form Urban Meyer's tenure

McVay at the Rams has 9 staff members with over 8 years NFL experience

Successful young coaches seem to have seasoned older assistants who have experienced success around them when they've taken over the reigns. There are very few young coaches that don't have experienced guys taking over significant portions of responsibility.

I typed this thinking it was a semi-novel concept. As I looked deeper into other staffs - it really isn't. What a shocker - your head coach should have more time to do the things that got him to that spot. Go figure.

For instance - Both OU and OSU have AHC's as well as AHC's for offense. OU had two co-OC's and then Riley running wild offensively. OSU has an OC/TE coach, but Ryan Day is heavily involved on the offensive side. Hands significant portions of "Head Coach only" duties off to others.

Perhaps Frost's biggest downfall was not getting experienced assistants around him. Turd can significantly correct that right now.

Well - the entire original post was just one idea of many possibles on "how" - you have any thoughts? or just bitching?
There are no thoughts once keeping the shitshow was the choice. I’m all for making lemonade, but this ain’t it. We’re just delaying the inevitable, and there’s far too many of you who refuse to see that and will be fellating 5-7 or 6-6 next year.

Don't you tell me what I will and won't fellate. Thank you very much.

Serious question: How do you think the Nebraska job would've fared in this wild carousel? Looking at being maybe the 6th best job available this year? Or does the craziness make us want to be in it?

We would have gotten a candidate of the same profile as VaTech did.

You lose if you approach it that way. I get the retrospective sentiment, but that’s a loser mentality, which is essentially what we have in Lincoln and the state of Nebraska right now.

“One of the better offensive minds in college football” …. Dear god 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wouldn't the bigger loser mentality be "poor us, we can't do anything to fix our situation right now"
