Casino opening in Lincoln?

Sports betting was legalized on Wednesday. But, Lincoln and Grand Island are the only areas that currently have temporary casinos even open. Lincoln thought they may be able to start accepting bets in a couple weeks. Grand Island said they wouldn't be able to until probably fall. Still so dumb that they won't allow any online sports betting.

If online/app betting ever happens I will pry turn into a degenerate

It is legal as of Wednesdays, but has to be done at the casino on approved machines. You also won't be able to bet on home football games.

I was talking to a poker dealer from the Horseshoe and he was saying there was some agreement worked out when Nebraska got their casinos, that they agreed they wouldn't put up a poker room in Omaha, Lincoln, and I think Grand Island .. to not take away business from the Horseshoe .. who knows the validity of that , but that's what I heard ..
