No schools can't directly pay players....so this is clearly just a play for more NIL money, right? put your name in the portal to see who offers the most and leave the door open to that being OU? JFC.

Off-season portal movement, social media drama, and NIL are going to end up dominating the sport. It indeed sucks.fuck NIL, the portal and opt-outs. this new version of CFB chugs cock.
It's going to be a total arms race now, teams are going to have to have a huge recruiting budget they have to recruit high school players, portal players, and your own players plus work NIL deals with outside sources to ensure you get and keep the best players available.so this is clearly just a play for more NIL money, right? put your name in the portal to see who offers the most and leave the door open to that being OU? There are going to be some teams/coaches that are going to fall behind and fall behind quickly if they don't have a plan in place to deal with this new era of CFB.You adapt and win or try to hold onto how things were and lose. This is definitely a semi-professional model in college football now. Which is fine as long as we figure out how to win.
Winners win and losers talk about how unfair it is that winners are winning.
The full Caleb Williams haiku. What am I looking at?
