– He said Nebraska's defense might be "bad, bad" (or maybe the actual quote was "really bad" ... either way)
– Nebraska beats Cincinnati.
– Nebraska holds Cincinnati to 17 points.
– In his analysis of Nebraska beating the team he picked it to lose against: "Nebraska looked a lot worse than I thought it would."
– The literal very next week, he picks Cincinnati to win + cover against Bowling Green because he believes "Cincinnati's defense might be really good."

Back in August, he picked Nebraska to finish under the O/U number of 7.5. At the time, he said, "I don't like their offensive line." He also said, "I don't think the reality of Dylan Raiola matches the hype, and I feel like he has already reached his ceiling."

I think if Nebraska gets to 10-2, then they will have likely beaten a bunch of bad teams and lost to Penn State and either the only other good team they faced or a terrible team.

Isn’t that what Indiana did last year when they made it? I think any SEC/Big 10 team that finishes 10-2 or better is in as long as there’s not 4 in each conference. If the SEC has 4 10 win teams, they’d get the spot over the 4th 10 win Big 10 team. Shit, they were trying to put a 9 win SEC team in over Indiana last year.

I listen to just about every cover 3 podcast. Never heard him say that about Raiola.

Bud Elliott looks strictly at recruiting rankings and Bill Connelly’s power rankings. Not enough actual game film unless it’s in the south.

That being said. He was the very first guy to sound the alarm on Marcus Satterfield at OC and unfortunately he may end up being right about the DL.

But he doesn’t like Nebraska and that’s been obvious for a while.

The constant dick sucking of Lagway when he hasn’t played nearly as well as Raiola is annoying.

The Satterfield prediction doesn’t impress me since every South Carolina fan was adamant on how bad he was & the evidence supported it other than 3 final games which apparently he might not have been calling plays.

If the guy had told us Tony white was going to be a bust then I’d be impressed but he strikes me as the media personality who’s niche is being a “expert” & is simply playing the odds.

Chris simms does this all the time so if ppl are high on a guy, he’ll lowball it while giving an out to how it might work then give multiple takes in a variety of ways so they can go back & take whichever is correct. Most of em are all frauds who’d be coaches or scouts if they really knew what they were talking about.
