Bowl Games Thread 2025

We have a few Q4s (like Oregon)...

Edit: I stand corrected, Oregon has improved to a Q3. Plus at Rutgers is a legit Q4 if it wasn't on the road.

Weakest games left
Oregon (Q3)
@ Rutgers (Q3)
Northwestern (Q3)
Penn State (Q3)
Maryland (Q3)
It's just real hard to be a Q4 game in a major conference

Yeah - I could see us coming out soft against some
Of the these home games and pull away in the second half

You don't get sick of the "SEC is just better" or "it just means more" crap?

I do. Especially since the B1G has been the superior conference the last couple years.

I pretty much hate every last one of our conference opponents, still not sure what to make of Rutgers… Nevertheless, I also loathe the fallacies and fantasies peddled by SEC fan and ESPN. (Extreme SEC Propaganda Network)

It’s at best a gross conflict of interest that ESPN OWNS the CFB playoffs, the playoff committee and has the largest contingent of AP voters employed. At worst it’s outright corruption. Combine that with 8 conference games, FCS cupcakes in November… And it’s clear they’ve been gaming the system for years.

I always thought "root for conference guy" was just an SEC T-shirt fan thing.

Outside of NU, my favorite team is whoever is playing one of our conference foes. Why would I ever root for a B10 team? It's not like SoS benefits us in anyway. Their success does not trickle down and make us somehow better.
In the big picture, the future of CFB is the B1G & SEC negotiating the rules for a new model. Whichever conference has more juice gets the upper hand in that, so IMO it's better for Nebraska if the B1G is winning more games & a more desirable product for TV networks, etc.

That said, I would probably prefer the general politics of what the SEC would set up so

I feel sooooo dirty…… I’m halfway hoping Cockeye wins just to give the SEC another loss…..
I would PREFER something happens where they both get credited a loss but that isn’t possible.

I think this is KF’s best football team. Yeah they’ve had teams with much better records via weak schedules, but this team is legit

Logical, reasonable

Will not be well received here
