I just scored a Blantons at a random small liquor store in downtown Denver. Anyone have any good finds lately?

I always pop in when I see a random store. They didn’t have anything so I walked out. The guy chased me down and asked what I was looking for so I just said Blantons or Weller or anything rare. He went back and got it for me. Nice guy

My palette isn't refined enough for good bourbon...yet. Had a bottle of Oban once, pretty good. Just got bottle number 2 of Metallica's Blackened. Brother brought me a bottle of Balcones from Texas, liked it. Haven't had the stones to venture out too far from my comfort zone, both in taste and in price.

Gary’s Grocery store had a great sale on Jack Daniels 500 ml bottles so I got 4 to stash random places around the house/garage.

I’ve found Blanton’s in Omaha on a rare occasion and it seems like it’s always a barrel select. Pitch Pizza had a barrel select in 2020. The bartender also told they were suppose to have an Eagle Rare select in 2021.
