Diaco can be a terrible dc & keep getting gigs cuz he’s not a potential PR nightmare. Bo in 2021, not many athletic departments will want to roll the dice on a loose cannon & it doesn’t help his prospects by shitting on a former employer.
We will agree to disagree. Bo could definitely pull another power 5 DC job at some point. He isn’t a pc nightmare when he isn’t the man answering all the questions. He only shit on Nebraska. He never shit on any of his other former employers. He didn’t blame coach O or LSU for being let go in the interview. Coaches always keep getting recycled. I’m not even saying he is a good DC at this point.
I don't think you can hold last year against him. New team, no spring, and covid limitations. Give him a couple years to install his defense and I bet he'd be fine.
And Ed O was stupid to go from a 3-4 which LSU had been running for years to a 4-3 and expect good results right away. LSU would have been better off stealing someone like Wisconsin’s d coordinator to run a similar defense. I also think Bo is at his best when he has Carl. Those two together can coach defense.
