Big news on the injury front

Wonder what Betts injury is. Looked like he got hit on the side of his lower abdomen. He was limping, so maybe a hip. Or could have been lower ribs.

We could certainly use Vokolek, Allen, Manning, Betts and most importantly Martin back at close to 100%.

Doesn't matter. We've got Liewer, Falck, and Belt our practice warriors to stifle that Sooner defense. Lincoln Riley is going to ask Frost after the game where he finds these gems.
How does an offense stifle a defense?

If Martin had his knee scoped twoish weeks ago, I don't expect him to be 100% for this game. His role will likely be reduced if he plays, which sucks, because he is our 2nd best receiver and we can't afford to lose productive skill players.

Can someone explain to me why Brown or Nixon are never on the field?
Perhaps they are taking it slowly with Brown since he was injured during the spring, summer, and fall camp.

Nixon barely playing has surprised me. But also not surprised me because who the hell knows what is going on with this coaching staff and the wide receiver position. Forever mindboggling.

And he had an entire season last year with nothing to do other than rehab and learn the fucking playbook.
Yeah I thought Nixon was going to be one of the top 2 or 3 receivers this year. He has great hands, solid speed and runs crisp routes.

It’s up to the coaching staff to figure out ways to get these playmakers up to speed. No one on the other side of the ball is scared of Falck/Liewer.
