Can someone ask waterboy this week if he has any insight to this as recently he stated that Betts climbed above Manning.
I’m curious about his thoughts since he sees them daily.

I'm so sick of players being rewarded for their hard work and effort yet they show nothing on gameday. Could Betts do any worse than Liewer? Doubt it. I'm sure Liewer is a good kid, but there's no way he should be taking snaps away from Manning or Betts.

It's so fucking frustrating watching Damian Jackson play too. Guy literally NEVER played football and it clearly shows. He's undersized and just a power lifter. Absolutely inexcusable he plays on D.

I’m as puzzled as you are. @alt f4 as well as many official media members reported the same if I’m not mistaken. Waterboy didn’t mention any injury or anything to me.
Will be curious what his thoughts are. Is it a case of Frost going with what he’s comfortable with bc it’s what’s he’s done before or what. Just weird

It doesn’t really matter if talented players are on the field because Martinez can’t get them the ball.

seems really odd to me none of our highly ranked skill players can beat out the white walk ons from Western Nebraska, but we’d be in the same place even if they could.

Frost should be fired for this alone. He has had multiple chances to upgrade the qb room and he stays with Martinez. His first mistake was not starting Gebbia for the first game and it’s snowballed from there.

It is just comical at this point..

Where was Sevy?
Where was Omar?
Where was the commitment to a RB run game?
Where was the well coached special teams?
Where was setting your QB up for success when he fell out of rhythm?
Fat Bret did this masterfully. Knows King Artur sucks, but figured out how to hide his weaknesses

Been saying the same crap about the players we see in game since year 1. I honestly can't come up with even a bad reason to play some of those guys.

100%.... They run the ball and then dials up a play action pass to a wide open TE.

We then on the next pass roll 2AM out to the wrong side and ask him to throw it 15+ yds running the wrong way. Where is the easy play to get him going?

yeah he went all in with Martinez from day one - might look totally different with a QB that can read coverage and make decisions, even if they a bit less athletic - although that still wouldn’t solve for the special teams, 3 years of a Center that cannot snap etc. etc.

It might mask Frost’s other shitty coaching and save his job. We are probably better off with Martinez at this point so the Scott Frost failure can come to an end this year.

Frost has shown many of our high rated recruits don't see the field. Betts, Nixon, Brown. 3 guys with some talent that sit while Lewier and Belt play. I dunno. We can't seem to develop skill players. Heck, Fleming and Betts showed talent and promise last season. Fleming bolted as his role dwindled or was very small even though you could see he had talent.

In frost's defense, he seems to have rectified this mistake by no longer recruiting highly rated players
