As I understood it, Mickey was guaranteed a job next season by Turd, part of the contract. It could be incorrect, but I did read that somewhere. If not the head coach, and it’s not likely at this point, as an assistant he will have the chance to stay on staff. That’s how he can tell these young men he will be here next season. Mickey is a good coach and obviously a very good recruiter. Turd knows that.

It is a credit to Mickey’s character how he has handled himself.
