That’s not really relevant when comparing the two coaches.

Scott Frost’s best win at Nebraska was over Michigan State his first year. A team barely over .500. I believe he only beat two Power 5 teams above .500 (both in his first year).

The ranked teams argument is stupid. It puts more weight on us beating 4-8 Oregon in 2016 than it does beating Colorado last year, who finished ranked.
What’s Rhule’s best win?

A close loss to ohiost 2 years ago?

Honest question here… was it Raiola getting hurt or that we finally played good football teams that saw our downfall back half of the year?

No right or wrong answer just curious.
I'm on team good football. I think Raiola might have kept games closer but Cockeye, Penn State, and Utah were gonna do that shit to Nebraska because the defense couldn't get stops.

Probably beating Colorado 28-10. A team that finished ranked.
Colorado got better . Nebraska got worse. NU loses if that game is played at the end of the season.

It’s quite obvious you aren’t in a leadership role. Us high level people make bad hires - it happens. You fire these people instead of keeping them employed

I lean more towards the competition at the end of the season
I think that’s where I’m at. We beat up on 7-5 Big12 Cincy, HCU, Akron, Sparty who fired their coach, Maryland who was 4-8, UCLA who fired their coach, and Northwestern. We are lucky we didn’t catch the 2026 schedule this year IMO.

Rhule’s biggest accomplishment in more than half a decade is finding a way to pull his head to head record with neon Deion to .500

How perfectly fitting

Cope

I emotionally checked out of this season once Raiola got injured because it should’ve been obvious what we’d get from there.

It’s always worth remembering that these two seasons were the first back to back bowl seasons in over a decade.

The good thing is in 2026 you can retool, especially with $$$ resources, but Rhule has to deliver over the next couple seasons.

Raiola getting hurt truly changed everything. With the way of the world in college football now there’s no such thing as QB depth unless you’re in a unique situation.

I don’t hate the core of the defense.

We have to decide who we are on offense.
