100% agree with this. Give up an opening drive TD, then field the kickoff at the 1 yard line. Game was over right there. Mentally we were not in Bloomington, and Cignetti and IU are really good.

We haven’t been the same since the 1st half vs CU. We’ve slopped out a few wins, but we shouldn’t look this listless in year 2.

Today was a severe setback. I’m in on Rhule but there are real questions surrounding this staff.

Coming out of a bye with no energy is wild to me. The early mistakes were incredible. Fuck up and wilt was the story from kickoff.

Is he just a raw raw CEO coach? I’m starting to wonder how much he knows X’s and O’s. And can he identify weak coaches? Cuz Satt clearly isn’t it. My level of concern will go up exponentially if changes aren’t identified and made after the season.

The biggest issue I’ve had with him besides some assistant hires is his game management. You would think a coach with his experience and being in the NFL would have it figured out by now.

Foley and McGuire need to be fired on the tarmac…Satt isn’t too far behind.

Also, TW needs to do something about his red zone defense…he seems to get a free pass, but we have been pathetic at allowing TDs in goal-to-go situations.

Forgot about him, but I agree. Dowdell fumbles and Emmett is clueless in pass protection….none of them could start for any other BIG team. That’s the reality.

Is there really any choice right now? The buyout would be massive. Who we gonna bring in to replace him? How much would that cost us?

Too many questions and too much money owed to Rhule to think he's getting shitcanned.

Offensive staff changes HAVE to happen, though. Satt sucks. Donny will obviously stay, and I think he is actually decent. McGoober needs to go (what an awful hire). We need a complete overhaul in offensive scheme, and that only happens with a new OC. And that OC has to be actually good.

TW has shown massive warts for a while now, also. But if he wants to stay (his options have to be greatly dwindled at this point to leave), you keep him. I think most of the defensive staff will stay, but who the hell knows. We got embarrassed badly on defense today, by a first year staff at IU.

Foley gotta go, obviously.

But to get rid of Rhule? Unless he walks on his own, don't really see it as a realistic option given the $ owed. And then the question of WHO to actual hire as a HC at the end of the year.

Don't see it as an option but to be "in" on Rhule given the variables. But massive offensive assistant changes, and schematic changes on defense, HAVE to be made.

Ozigbo was a quality back. Ameer is probably a top 5 back in Husker history.
