Youngstown (Ohio) Fitch Top247 edge rusher Brian Robinson visited Nebraska on Saturday for the Huskers spring game and leaves Lincoln with an offer from Matt Rhule and his staff.
Moving forward, the Huskers will be a factor in the touted Robinson’s recruitment.
“I loved it in Lincoln,” Robinson told 247Sports. “I’ve never been there before, so it really caught me off guard. The coaching staff was wonderful. The fans were amazing. There’s so many things about Nebraska that caught my eye from the wonderful facility to the 1-on-1 time to answer all my questions, and they was very attentive to what I really want.
“Me being totally honest, and transparent Nebraska will definitely be on my top schools list when I make one.”
Robinson is approaching 40 offers and has made the rounds to several schools throughout his process including recent trips to Tennessee, Michigan, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Penn State and Texas A&M.

I am guessing we want two TEs. You look at the board, the two visiting this weekend (Nelson & Ingwerson) appear to be the other two we have offered who might come. Flynt committing would mean one of those two probably isn't coming. I am guessing Ingwerson as he is committed to Pitt and Nelson is an entirely different sort of TE than Flynt.

They’re taking a ton of transfers. I don’t know what’s up with their recruiting - they aren’t getting commits. Look at all the SoCal kids visiting us - USC doesn’t seem to be a major contender for them. I read today the Elijah Brown, the highly rated Mater Dei QB, is likely going to Stanford now instead of SC.
