In the RSS chat today, SC suggested the issue is likely that the coaches are planning to only take 2-3 WRs in the 24 class and aren't pushing for these guys (remember we took 6 in the '23 class). He thinks they are pushing hard to get Nelson, will likely get Murphy, and sit in a very good position with Pyfrom and Benning.

FWIW he predicted we'd get 4-5 of these March 24-25 visitors: Baker, Frazier, Bair, Ginther, Brix, Nelson and Newby

He also said Nouili practiced all last season with the scout team

Had to dig this up because of what Nouili said today in the press conference:

" He said he was still able to do “everything” with the team – except practice or play in the actual games. So he was still showing up in meetings, was still around his coaches and teammates and was still on the sidelines on Saturdays."

Thanks, I just posted it prominently on RSS

So the top recruits could technically visit as many schools as they want, but that would put more pressure on the schools to not invite every single recruit who would want to visit due to the limit of official visits that every school is allotted every year.

You think they would increase the number of official visits a school can do every year then?

That seems like a good idea in theory but it may screw over "poorer" teams that still shoot for 4 star talent every once in a while (teams like UCF, Houston, West Virginia, etc.) who may not be able to easily afford another 30-50 visits per cycle in their budget while schools like Bama, Michigan, and even Nebraska probably could without blinking.

They didn’t increase the number of visits schools can provide.

Good. It was dumb to restrict a kid if he has schools who want to bring him in.

But like NIL I imagine most dudes will end up about where they were before it was legal to take as many as they wanted
