Since there was talk in other threads about where Murphy ranked in Nebraska recruits, I thought this top 10 Nebraska player ranking might be of interest because you can see how each service ranks players. The ranking on the left is a consensus all position ranking.

On# and 247 tend to be close, Rivals is erratic by comparison, ESPN is worthless. Rivals has lost a huge chunk of its sites and national staff to National On3 over the last couple of years (247 has lost staff to a lesser extent) which is likely affecting Rivals' evaluations (Terry Shannon, the CEO of On3, started Rivals, sold, started 247, sold, and then started On3, so he knows about everyone in the business and has really pirated people). I am talking here about national network info and staff, not local sites, the quality of which is independent of the national network.

In my experience, consensus ranked players in the top 1200-1300 generally land in P5 or good G5 - it's just the math.

Ingwerson, in the post above, apparently has put on 15 pounds of muscle in the off-season to get up to 245, so it may be rated higher in the future, who knows.

My personal opinion - the guys we really need are Nelson and Pyfrom, because we are short of schollie TEs and OTs, and can't let these guys escape Nebraska.
