Buying a wedding gift for a friend and don't really know what I'm doing. I'm just on ebay looking at shit, have no clue what things are worth or if they're legit or what. We're looking for MJ memorabilia in the $300-$400 range. 7 of us pitching in, want to get him something cool but not get too crazy.
 
Shit, price of autographed stuff has damn near tripled since I looked last (2 years ago-ish). If it doesn't have to be autographed, a nice PSA 10 graded card would probably be much appreciated. Topps Finest refractors are sweet, stadium club beam team are nice too.

Reviving this thread as Dylan has real cards on eBay and I’m tempted to buy some. I have a feeling they are over priced right now so plan on holding out. But curious if anyone else was tracking.

I’ve been trying to catch up as I haven’t bought cards in a significant way since the Eric Crouch rookie year. From what I’ve read’s and watched on YouTube there was a big card convention in Cleveland last week called the National and the companies released exclusive cards. These were the Raiola cards that dropped at that event.

I also recall Dylan signing with Panini. And in looking at their site he’ll also be in their Prizm Draft Picks collection. So I bought six boxes of that to see what I could pull.
 
Sports cards are fun - if Dylan lives up to the hype, that'll be cheap.

I'd love to get into it more again (collected as a kid), but I got ripped off in a major way by some douchebag in Cockeye trying to buy a major collection last year, so I'm out for a while. Opening a new box is a rush.

Made an agreement to buy a huge estate, including some Mantles. Money down, with more dependent on grading/authentication. Drove to meet him & got a van full of cards, but found later he'd pulled the big money cards, so I essentially overpaid for a mediocre group. I should have verified more.

I have a buncha old cards but wanna get back into it as well but wouldn’t trust anyone from Cockeye
