Hey guys, if this post is not allowed feel free to take it down immediately.

Bottom line is that I am a Senior Recruiter and Account Manager. I am trying to break into Conagra in Omaha as it could be a big account.

I just wanted to see if anyone here is needing help hiring people or looking to engage with any staffing companies.

Again, I am not thrilled by myself "soliciting" business here so MODs take this post down if not allowed.

You really think Conagra doesn't have their own internal recruiting team?

Big companies a lot of times have internal recruiting and also use agencies. I lead recruiting for PCL California pre-Covid and half my day was working with staffing companies

It’s almost like real estate anymore where you’ve got the internal staffing department that works on behalf of the company and they work with the staffing company that represents the candidate(s).

Totally depends on the company, but as long as there's an internal staffing department, I don't want to use a recruiter because then I need to pay fees for that. You get so many resumes from blind postings there isn't a huge need to use external recruiting. Different animal when you're doing c-level type recruiting though.

Yeah I should say that this is not a contract recruiting post. I only do Direct Hires.

Yeah, I’ve been in the start up world for around 10 years now and it seems everyone uses an external staffing company as many of those start ups don’t really want to add too much payroll that doesn’t directly contribute to “growth.”
