I don’t think anyone honestly knows where Turd stands. Common sense would tell you 4 straight losing seasons at Nebraska gets you fired even if you’re a Husker legend. It’s not like he will have a winning season in 2022 with what is coming back and his lack of ability to coach his players up.

I can't imagine Turd making any statement or revealing 'his hand.' I do think he will have a process to how he views and manages the situation through and after the season. I'm of the belief that he is not afraid to keep or douse his HC, depending on whether he sees what he needs to see.

That encourages me. At least enough to believe that NU will eventually have the ability to get out of the ditch...

If, and more likely when, frost finishes with a losing record this year the noise will be too loud for even Turd to ignore. He’ll have to give the “vote of confidence” to the media and fans and that pretty much spells the end. Will finish with an awful recruiting class, followed by some transfer outs, and next year we will get run off the field at home by OU. Turd just needs to do the right think and rip the bandaid off this year. I hope he’s put feelers out.

I just don’t see it happening that way unless there are more violations. Frost’s ego won’t allow it.

I'm not surprised at the "another year for Frost" thing. Those are the vibes I'm getting (no insider info) is that Frost is back for 2022 unless he steps away himself.

My question is on the Adrian thing. I hadn't heard that he didn't watch film and wasn't a hard worker. Is that common knowledge? I mean we knew 2019 prep for Adrian was terrible (overweight, lack of focus) but that was more chalked up to a kid believing his own hype, etc. I didn't know Martinez was walking around with a rep of being a lazy worker and not a film watcher.

If that's true that makes it even worse that Frost continues to hitch his wagon to AM. Your starting QB should be the hardest worker and most film-obsessed of any player on the team. Again if this is true that actually explains a lot about why the team is so terrible.

Someone else had said something similar on RSS or here don't remember which. There was also the rumor that Martinez was leading the no bowl game decision.

You always have to take things like that with a grain of salt because it's the perception of someone's feelings. However, if you hear things like that multiple times from different people it makes you think.

This isn't a guy that would make shit up but that doesn't mean you're wrong. I know that he worked closely with Turd at UNO about 10 years ago and that they stay in touch to some degree. I don't know how close they are. Again what he says now to people he's not particularly close with and what he does at the end of the year can be two different things.
