When was the last time an instate recruit truly worked out? Niles freaking Paul? What year was that?
Nelson, Sawedoffgrass, Teddy, Heinrich, Hickman, and etc.
Need I say more…..
Has the problem really been Nebraska HS players, or UNL?
Ernest Hausmann is playing well at Michigan
Keagon Johnson was a stud at Cockeye and had a solid year at K-State
Xavier Watts just won the Bronko Nagurski award for Notre Dame
Noah Fant killed it at Cockeye
CJ had a solid career at Wyoming before injuries forced him to medically retire
Harrison Phillips got rejected by CMC for a jersey swap, but still was a beast at Stanford
Easton Stick mad it to the league from NDSU
And there are plenty more. The issue hasn't been in-state players being overrated, its been the development of anyone really.
